Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate in vitro anti-aging, antioxidant, antibacterial activities, human irritation T. flower extract development as a cosmeceutical product using aqueous, 50%, 95% ethanolic extracts flower. Methods: Total phenolic content was defined. Quantitative analysis syringic acid determined by HPLC. Antioxidant activities were performed measurement 2,2-diphenyl 1-pichylhydazyl free radical scavenger. Anti-aging assays monitored inhibitory effects on tyrosinase, elastase, hyaluronidase, collagenase activities. Antibacterial against Staphylococcus aureus epidermidis also investigated. The formulated lotion its stability evaluated tests performed. Results: had significantly higher total than the other extracts. stronger DPPH scavenging elastase hyaluronidase enzyme those 50% or water showed better activity S. epidermidis. developed containing 1% ethanol stable. Moreover, not observed healthy volunteers after applying lotion. Conclusion: indicates that extracts, especially extract, are potential sources products enzymes/reactions responsible aging bacterial infection. The crude extracts and its fractions of the flower of Tagetes erecta Linn. were tested for insecticidal activity against a stored product insect pest, Tribolium castaneum (Herbst). The chloroform fraction showed highest toxicity against both the larvae and adults of Tribolium castaneum followed by 50 petroleum ether fraction and ethanol extract. The LC values of chloroform fraction against firs...

Bacteria have evolved numerous defences against antimicrobial agent and drug resistance in pathogen is on rise. This is due to rapid development of multi-drug resistance, limited anti-bacterial spectrum and adverse effects of available anti-microbial agents. This necessitates the search for new antimicrobials with diverse structures and novel mechanism of action. Flowers are mostly used for orn...
